MarketingWorking as a key part of the broader event management function our marketing team are responsible for the promotion of a diverse portfolio of over 2000 live events each year, targeted at fortune 500 clients across a range of different industries internationally.
With each event targeted to a uniquely different audience you will closely with all internal the Production team to understand the value proposition of each individual event and its intended target audience and segments. Working on a 20-30 week promotional cycle you will be given the autonomy to develop and execute a specific marketing plan for each event, designed to raise the profile of the event and the marcus evans brand.
Based on the target audience you will assess all marketing channels available and determine the optimal marketing mix to put the event in front of the right people at the right time. Multi-tasking between multiple projects at different stages of their promotional cycle requires an organized approach and an analytical mind. Constantly evolving the marketing message to respond to market feedback to optimize the return on every event.
This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to move into a pure marketing role. Those with prior sales/marketing experience will have an advantage, but more important will be a willingness to learn, an analytical mind and a determination to succeed. Whilst you will be coming into an established business and trained on a proven marketing process, you will also be challenged to develop new opportunities to promote each event in your portfolio - Marketing career opportunities
